Welcome to Class 4
Summer Term 2020
Dear Class 4,
I hope you are all well and have managed to enjoy the sunshine over the Easter holidays. This next term will be an unusual one.
We are not sure yet when school will open so everyone is going to need to try really hard to do a little work from home, be resilient, play games and get some exercise. Most importantly we want you to stay safe at home.
You can email anytime with any worries that you may have - through Purplemash or to firstname.lastname@example.org
Each week I will post a new plan with your work for the week. Do what you can and don’t worry too much if you have technical difficulties. You can always read, read, read :)
I will change the 2Dos on Purplemash each week so you have new challenges to try. Our book this term is Treasure Island which you can find in the English section of Curriculum Visions - under year 5 or year 6. It is quite a tricky read so feel free to ask a parent/someone at home to read it with you or get them to read a section to you.
You can use your new exercise book to complete any activities from any subject. Try to remember to join your handwriting and use punctuation :) I am sure you will all do your best. I know some of you will have very busy parents who are also working so don’t worry if they can’t help much - you are capable and able.
You can achieve, believe in yourself, be confident and be happy.
Hopefully I will see you all very soon.
