Morland School PTA

Morland PTA very kindly help towards the cost of lots of things in school including class trips, residentials’ and have been charged with the enormous task of finding 10% of our build costs which is £10,000! As a VA school we are required to do this. So, we need more support at the PTA meetings to organise fundraising events. PTA meetings are for anybody to attend and we would love to see more parents, grandparents and members of the community attending!

Morland School Christmas Fair

Saturday, 8th December, 2018

12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Morland Village Hall

It's now only 6 weeks until Christmas and just under 4 weeks until our annual School Christmas Fair in Morland Village Hall!!!

This year there will be lots of seasonal games, activities, craft stalls, tombola, raffle, cake stall, tea, coffee, mulled wine and mince pies to enjoy. Not forgetting Santa and his elf helper in his fabulous grotto!!

The fair is open to anyone and everyone - not just those associated with the school, so please feel free to bring along family and friends for some festive fun, a spot of Christmas shopping or just to enjoy some of the seasonal treats on offer!

The PTA Committee, would like to ask for your support in donating anything you can as well as coming along on the day to help make the Christmas Fair a success and raise as much money as possible to support our school.

In particular we would appreciate......

- any home-made Christmas crafts - Raffle prizes of any sort

- Tombola prizes - Home-made cakes / sweet treats

- any help / assistance in manning stalls

Boxes will be in place in the school reception where any donations can be dropped off from 19th November. There will also be a non-uniform day on 30th November for children to bring in a tombola or raffle prize in return for not wearing school uniform.

Home baking / food items can be dropped in at the village hall before 11 a.m. on the morning of the fair.

All of the money raised from the fair goes back into the school to benefit our children. It contributes towards key extracurricular activities such as; transportation for swimming sessions as well as subsiding educational trips and sporting events. We also contribute as much as possible to essential school equipment such as books, I.T., maths aids and sporting equipment.

If you are able to help in any way please let either Ruth Robinson, Stacey Young, Emma Lockerbie or a member of school staff know so we can organise the afternoon accordingly.

Your support is very much appreciated.
